ACG is an independent service providing counselling for patients who may not be able to afford the full cost of private counselling.

We provide GP surgeries with a ‘free to the practice’ counselling resource, helping them to:

• Offer in-house counselling appointments.

• Offer patients both short and long term support.

• Manage surgery waiting lists. 

 

We provide:

• Professional short and long-term counselling at no cost to practice.

• Prompt responses to patients, helping reduce surgery waiting lists.

• Fee negotiation directly with patients to ensure a level which is affordable.

• Sympathetic recognition of genuine hardship cases.

• Straight forward and proven referral and reporting system for GPs.

 

Our counsellors:

• Qualified and hold full membership and registration with the BACP, UKCP and/or NCS.

• Fully insured.

• Engaged in on-going CPD and supervision.

• Provide a range of experience and special expertise.
